Joshua, Jordan and Jiya

Joshua attended another mini-retreat last night. He had to attend a special mass; there was music and Fr. Tom gave a special homily and blessing to all the would-be communicants. It was very sweet. They then had to listen to instructions about mass; how they had to behave, how they were to prepare for their special day. We had to turn in 2 tags; one which Joshua will wear around his neck every Sunday so the parishioners can pray for him and another one which goes on the prayer tree. Some family will pick the tag and take it home to pray for the child. I’ve done it all these years and this year my own son will be in someone’s prayers. Sigh! So wonderful!
